I am so excited!! I have something to share!

About 3 weeks ago, I happened upon this new scrapbooking (CANADIAN) site while browsing one day! When I joined, I found out that they were having a DT call. I waited and thought about whether or not I should apply! Finally at the last minute I decided to go for it.

And....I got it!! So, as of Jan 1: I design for Your Memories By Design !!!

This is a year long DT position and it's perfect timing for me.

While browsing the site, I found out that the owner, Catherine creates all of her own designs of embellishments such as tags, lettering, albums, journalling blocks, acrylic goodies, etc!

Just CRE8!!!

I have been participating in the Just Cre8 Idol contest for the past 4 weeks! The winner of this contest wins 3 months on the Design team, AND the top ten winners win some goodies as well!! I have been thoroughly enjoying the inspiring challenges posted by Sue! And I'm especially happy with my creations.

I just wanted to share my most recent project. Sue posted a challenge to create a 'gift' for someone. Although I had a completely different idea when I first saw the challenge, but this is what I ended up making.

I took my Rhonna Farrer rubon container, and made a mini advent calendar for my dd! (I plan on making a second one for my other dd, with the other half of the container). I think it's so cute and small. I placed big magnets on the back so it could be stuck to the fridge. And each of the little pieces have magnets for easy placement and removal.

Now, I cannot wait for December 1st so we can start using it!!

Candy Hangover....

I wonder is it really possible!! lol My kids ate so much last night and they are so irritable this morning!! I cannot even begin to TRY and get them to eat breakfast!! Looks like dh and I will have to help them to eat all their candy so that they don't continue to overdose on it! lol

Anyway, I just decided to check in today before I head out to the school to study for a BIG exam!! LOTS to learn and so little time to learn it!
