Quilt making!

So..this week I finished my second quilt ever!! And I'm really quite please with how it turned out! I used 4-5 different fabrics, and cut them in squares.

I was inspired by the quilt on this site!

and then pieced them together...I added the batting and the flannel backing then used the free-motion stitching feature on my machine!

Love how if turned out! And my 10 yr old loves it too! Here are some pics! Thanks for looking!

Road Trip with Amy Tangerine!!

haha! No…I didn’t actually go on a road trip with Amy T….but wouldn’t that be so much fun???

But…I DID document our recent road trip using YUMMY Amy Tangerine goodies from LCOM!!!

And let me tell you….this mini album from Amy T. is soooo  easy to play with! You can whip up a little album in literally minutes!!

I will share the first few pages I made, because the album is not completely done yet! I had so much fun over the March break that I didn’t get in a whole lot of scrapping time in!

Welcome to MARCH!! I get so excited when March arrives, because it means we’re only weeks from Spring….only 3 more garbage day til spring!! YAY!
